Stearns infant and youth antimicrobial watersport jackets are environmentally friendly. They contain an anti-microbial additive that forms a barrier on the surface of the vest which acts to control and hinder growth of odor-causing mildew and mold. Both infant and youth Watersport life jackets feature Stearns’ exclusive arrow-lock buckles and sturdy nylon shell with durable Crosstech flotation foam. The difference between infant’s and youth’s versions is the belt and leg strap. The infant antimicrobial life vest has one 1″ belt and leg strap, while the youth life vest has one crotch strap and three 1″ straps for secure fit of the user. Also, the infant life vest is a Type II U.S. Coast Guard approved life jacket, while the youth life jacket is Type III.
Aside from anti-microbial watersport life vests, Stearns also offers hydroprene life jacket for infants and youth. These hydroprene life vests are high quality products that are designed to provide safety, comfort, and durability to users. The Watersport life vests have 1″ webbing on both infant and youth products. Also, the entire hydroprene life jackets are made with PE foam.
Stearns also features a high-performance vest for youth and adults. The high performance life jacket has one chest trap and two adjustable belts. Also, it has two storage pockets, PVC foam in front and PE foam at the back, and a thick roll-style, stand-up collar for convenience of the user. This vest is a top choice for water skiing and wake boarding enthusiasts. This high performance vest is a Type III U.S. Coast Guard approved life vest.
Stearns also makes the all-time classic series life vest that is open on the sides and has adjustable belts, and 1″ webbing and three buckles for safety. The classic series is also great for recreational use and is made of nylon.
